Kickass Aussie of the Day: Michael “Mick” Bedford was surfing off the coast of Albany in Western Australia, when he was attacked by a Great White. Naturally, he did what anyone would do if caught in a similar bind: He punched the shark and caught a passing wave to safety. “He gave it a good whack he reckons, a good punch and that doesn’t surprise me knowing Mick,” a witness was quoted as saying.
If I have one goal in life, it is to be known as the guy who doesn’t surprise acquaintances when he punches a shark.
